In the Da Vinci Museum you'll have the opportunity to admire the oldest replica of The Last Supper of Leonardo Da Vinci. This painting was of course an inspiration of this edition of Musica Divina 2019. Father Ivo, curator of the Da Vinci Museum, gives an elaborate explanation to this extraordinary masterpiece.
The viola organista is one unique music instrument that can't be forgotten during a festival that highlights the Sound of Da Vinci. The master himself made many different music instruments, and one of them is the viola organista, which has been rebuild. It's a combination of a keyboard instrument and a string instrument that in theory can replace a full battery of a viola da gamba.
