FAQ COVID-19 & MUSICA DIVINA, Oxygen for the soul

Enjoy live music safely

The festivalteam is extremely pleased to welcome you during Musica Divina.

It goes without saying that we will take all necessary preventive measures during the festival. Your health is also our concern.

We kindly ask you to follow the guidelines listed below.

Buy your ticket in advance

For all concerts, you'll need to buy your ticket(s) in advance.
It is highly recommended to buy them online. This can be done 24/7 following the ticket link for each concert.

Alternatively, you can also buy them
- at 015 29 76 53, Mondays to Fridays, 10 AM to 4 PM
- at the Ticket desk, Vleeshouwersstraat 6, Mechelen.: Mo – Sa: 10 AM to PM.

No reserved seat

You cannot make a reservation for a specific seat. Our colleagues will usher you to your seat at the venue. Only this way, we can guarantee the correct social distance for all visitors.

If you are wheelchair-bound, then we are happy to provide a special seating arrangement.

Limited tickets

We want to assure the correct social distance between visitors and will, therefore, restrict each concert to a maximum of 200 attendees

Contact tracing

If you buy multiple tickets for one concert, you are the contact person per group/bubble. If you bought the tickets, you already provided us with all the necessary contact details. Should there be potential contamination, you'll have to share the contact information of your company with the tracing authorities.

Welcome with your bubble

You can attend all concerts in a personal safety 'bubble', consisting of family members or friends.
Please respect the maximum of 5 people, as foreseen in the official safety guidelines.

Respect the general safety guidelines

All personal safety recommendations apply:
- Stay home when you're ill.
- Regularly wash your hands with water and soap.
- Respect a safety distance of 1,5 meters.
- Don't shake hands and don't hug when greeting someone.

With some medical conditions, you're considered at risk and need to make a personal risk assessment.
The list of people in high-risk groups includes people who: are over 65, have diabetes, have obesity, have a heart, lung, liver or kidney disease, have cancer or a weak immune system.

Face mask required

You're obliged to wear a face mask at all times during your visit.
You cannot take it off when seated.

Always bring your ticket

Without your ticket, you cannot enter the concert.
We'll check your tickets at the doors, either printed or as a download on your smartphone.

Is there a problem with your ticket?
Then visit the Ticket desk (Vleeshouwersstraat 6) before the concert.

The Festival invitees will not receive a printed ticket. They only have to pass by the festival desk and will be guided to their place.

Be on time

We open the doors 45 minutes before the concert starts to assure a fluent and safe trajectory through the concert venue.
Latecomers will be refused entrance to the building.
You'll keep a safety distance of 1,5 meters to other visitors and will need to remain in your 'bubble' at all times.

Our colleagues will control the respect of the guidelines and will usher you to your seat.

Beware: you cannot leave your seat until after the concert!

Remain seated after the concert

After the concert, you'll have to remain seated.
Our colleagues will give the necessary directives to allow a safe exit for all attendees.

Toilets before or after the concert

In the concert halls, there are no toilets available. No toilets are available in the concert halls. Before or after the concert you can use the toilets of the restaurants facilities in the area.

Once seated, you can only leave your spot at the end of the concert (in the order determined by our staff).
Carefully consider this.
