Biber, Bach and the Hagoromo-ritual
Ausonia
The Belgian ensemble Ausonia has come up with a special way to unite rituals from East and West. To that end, they work with the Japanese dancer Masato Matsuura. Together, they discovered that the spirituality of, for instance, the Rosenkranzsonaten by Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber is reflected in that of the Japanese Nô theatre.
