The poet's garden
Bart Stouten & Aurae
For many years, the poet Bart Stouten was the heart and soul of the radio programme ‘The Garden of Eden’ on Klara. In the abbot’s residence in the abbey, he offers an informal philosophical and poetic talk on the many forms and meanings that the idea of Eden takes. He will consider his own poetry as well as work by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Konstantinos Kavafis and others. Aurae will contribute a performance of Youkali by Kurt Weill and Abendempfindung by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
