What does the swan song of one of the most prominent composers in Western history sound like? We give you Psalm 119 set to music by the then 86-year-old Heinrich Schütz. The longest biblical psalm is often considered to summarise the Bible itself but in this case it can also be interpreted as the sum total of Schütz’s own creative life.
