Hadewijch and Minne
VocaMe
Minne is the key element in the poetry of the Brabant mystic Hadewijch. Her spiritual journey inspired the German ensemble Vocame to create their latest production. This concert is the latest in the ensemble’s impressive series of musical portraits of inspiring women: Kassia, Christine de Pizan and Hildegard von Bingen. The musicians want to make Hadewijch’s voice heard in our times as well, with her desire for a profound understanding of the world, her own life and the all-connecting love at its centre.
