Amaranthe

Amaranthe is a young women’s choir from Oudenaarde that is conquering the choral world with unique projects. At the World Choir Games in 2021, the biggest international choir competition in the world, Amaranthe became the world champions in categories including Vocal Ensembles and Chamber Choirs of Equal Voices. They obtained an incredible score of 98.38%, and in 2023, they successfully defended their title in South Korea. This close-knit group perform contemporary a cappella choir music under the enthusiastic leadership of Johannes Dewilde. They will present their very latest project at Musica Divina: Mens Mea, my soul. The central idea is everyone’s inner search for peace, connection and fulfilment in a world of obstacles, distraction and impulses.
