Erik Van Nevel is thoroughly familiar with the work of Philippus De Monte, known as the last of the Flemish Polyphonists. He has used the masses composed by this ‘Prince of Music’, born in Mechelen, to compile a new mass. The finale is an eight-part Agnus Dei: a project that suits Currende down to the ground.
