The flower in paradise

Tasto Solo

The ensemble Tasto Solo will have its twentieth anniversary in 2024. They will celebrate it at Musica Divina with one of their most beautiful programmes: La Flor en Paradis. In the Middle Ages, the flower stood for beauty and decoration, power and sensuality, but it was also an allegory for God and an evocation of virginal purity. Tasto Solo explores the rise and development of polyphony through this floral symbolism, with music from sources including the Codex Montpellier and the Las Huelgas Manuscript. We are looking forward to an elegant birthday bouquet.
