The Sung Room
Sound Walk
Musica Divina is teaming up with Musica Impulse Centre, the installation artists Strijbos and Van Rijswijk, and Natuurpunt to create The Sung Room: a sound map of the surroundings, in which previously recorded, nocturnal sounds of the landscape also emerge in a natural-sounding way. As soon as you enter the folly, you will be embraced by musical voices. A complete composition emerges in combination with the environmental sounds. The makers have designed resonance panels as an alternative to traditional speakers. This allows them to explore the relationships between different realms of experience: from our inner world to intimate space, social space and public space.
The installation can be visited at any time, free of charge, with no reservation required.
