2021 is the 500th anniversary of the death of the Flemish Polyphonist Josquin des Prez. We will be honouring this small eternity with Vox Luminis. Along with the famous Missa L’Homme Armé, there are also several motets by this great 16th century master on the programme. It is music that still appeals to us after all these centuries. Martin Luther rightly called des Prez der noten meister, he who rules over the notes.
