Stylus Fantasticus
Eric Sleichim & BL!NDMAN [sax]
BL!NDMAN [sax] brings the virtuosity of the Stylus Fantasticus to life in its own unique way. This Early Baroque style was characterised by absolute freedom, unrestricted by melody, text or structure. Works for the organ by Dieterich Buxtehude have been arranged by Eric Sleichim and madrigals by Carlo Gesualdo have been recreated in new, electronic forms. Arvo Pärt and Johann Sebastian Bach also play a brief role in the small eternity between 1600 and the present day.
