Lux Beata is taking a walk in a musical orchard that combines music from Naples with traditional Armenian melodies. In both cultures, fruit and gardens play a major role. We wander with them from the ubiquitous giardino armonico in Italian music of the 17th century to the pomegranates and apricot trees that appear everywhere in Armenian culture: in the colours of traditional clothing, the food people eat and the instruments that are played. It goes without saying that the characteristic sound of the duduk has a key role in this musical orchard.
